I’ve been so ready to share more details of our Vintage Market weekend with you! We literally worked like dogs [...]
Continue Reading →We showed you here how we color washed our barn door, but I didn’t quite show you the rest of the story. So, I wanted to show that to you today. We improved the bottom stair tread and wanted to add house numbers to it, below the barn door. Now, this door comes off the [...]

I love a vivid raspberry paired with classic navy, so much so I use the combination in my home office. Equally as appealing to me are shades of blush and pale rose partnered with gold, the two together are a chic [...]

Morning, friends! It seems like our house renovation is either at a stand-still, or we have too many projects to handle. Isn’t that how life works though? It helps break me out of my box and energize my creative juices. Recently, CB2 partnered with husband-and-wife design duo Robert & Cortney Novogratz on the Brasil Collection which debuted in stores on May 2nd. Have you seen it yet? If not, I am thrilled to be the first to show it off to you! This collection is filled with playful and modern pieces which were inspired by the couples’ vacation home in Brazil. (More on that sweet vacation home in a minute! One of you might just get to party like a rock star in said vacation home. Squee!)
Here are some of my favorite pieces from the CB2 and Novogratz Collection:
The Botao sectional seats are vibrant and fun. I love how they easily mix and match to create completely different looks from conservative gray to candy-colored stripes.

We have tons of scrap wood so this project only cost the price of some chalkboard spray paint…. which I honestly forgot the price of! Materials Used: -Scrap Wood cut to size Piece [...]
Yesterday, I just happened upon the HGTV website, and I saw all of these mentions about a 2013 HGTV Smart Home. I was like “whaaaaat?” How long have they been doing this? I knew about the annual Dream Home, and the annual Green Home (which I completely missed this year!!), but I don’t think I’ve [...]
