Overlooking the little things in your home is easy to do, like this hallway shelf. It was one of the very first projects I ever posted. Four years ago my home was a little more country, and now I’d like to think that it’s a little more rock-and-roll  contemporary. Not over the top, uber contemporary, but more like fresh, contemporary farmhouse. There’s a million and one little things that I overlook almost every day, most of them never really catch my attention. When Lowe’s asked me to try their new Pantone Color of the Year Emerald paint, I was kinda stumped. However, my black and white laundry room could definitely use a bit of color, so I decided to makeover a shelf!
